It's a Miracle: WaPo Writes an Interesting Memo
This is only the first of its kind that we’ve seen, but WaPo may be turning over a new leaf (as pictured here) in their internal memos — in that maybe they will now be readable and remotely interesting. The news today is that Ted Mellnik, a “seasoned” computer-assisted reporting specialist, is joining the Graphics Department.
They weren’t kidding about “seasoned”: He has 30 years experience at the Charlotte Observer. Also, if you want to know anything on kayaking, sailing or soccer, he’s your guy.
