ATLANTA Huey/Paprocki has won the Hitachi Power Tools account after a review involving several other undisclosed agencies, the shop said.

The independent Atlanta shop will provide brand strategy and advertising for the manufacturer, which maintains its North American headquarters in Atlanta.

Annual billings were not disclosed, but sources value the account at about $2 million.

The agency will break a new campaign for Hitachi in the fourth quarter of this year. The effort will focus mostly on print advertising in trade journals and special interest magazines such as Fine Woodworking.
