Hotline Profiles Lowry
Some highlights from Hotline’s “Friday Feature” of National Review’s Rich Lowry:
Where’s your hometown? What was it like growing up there?
Arlington, Va. Kind of dull. My idea of a good idea time was sneaking National Reviews into class.
What was your first job?
Research assistant for Charles Krauthammer. It’s why his columns circa 1990-1991 were so darn accurate.
What is your favorite book and why?
Fiction: “The Brothers Karamazov.” It’s transcendently good. Non-fiction: “Witness.” One of the best conservative books ever written.
