Ford's Valentic Heads to Y&R on Microsoft

DETROIT Jan Valentic, Ford Motor Co.’s vice president of global marketing, is leaving the company on April 1 to become an executive vice president at Young & Rubicam Brands.

She had a global role at Ford and at times worked with Y&R, a Ford roster shop that handles brands such as Land Rover, Jaguar and Lincoln-Mercury. Before Ford, she was an svp at Leo Burnett in Chicago.

The activities of Ford’s global marketing organization will be realigned under Jim O’Connor, group vice president, North America marketing, sales and service, according to the automaker.
