Paul Hammersley, formerly U.S. CEO of IPG’s Lowe, has accepted an offer to become chairman and CEO of DDB’s London office, DDB confirmed last week. Hammersley, who left Lowe last summer, will start at Omnicom’s DDB in mid-March. The shop had been run by co-CEOs Ross Barr and Chris Cowpe and chairman Chris Powell. Cowpe is expected to stay at Lowe with a different title, while Barr is expected to leave, sources said. Powell recently retired.
