Rodale chairwoman and CEO Maria Rodale has plans to expand the company’s e-commerce offerings, even if it seems to be a money pit.
According to the New York Post, Rodale wants to expand the operation, despite concerns from others that “she is doing e-commerce in a very costly way, by taking title to the goods that are being sold.” That strategy leads to increased warehouse and shipping costs. It also takes cash away from Rodale brands, like Men’s Health.
