Welch Foods has awarded creative chores on its $20-25 million account to WPP’s J. Walter Thompson, the client confirmed last week. The New York shop beat out independent Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago and the incumbent, Havas’ Arnold in New York. Jones Lundin Beals, the Chicago-based consultancy, managed the review. Havas’ MPG in New York retains media duties, which were not in review.
