NEW YORK Cliff Freeman and Partners has been hired by TBS Superstation to craft commercials touting its lineup of syndicated comedy series, the client said.

TBS continues to talk to shops about broader creative chores on its $15-20 million ad account, a client representative said.

The independent New York shop is competing in that review against Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silvertstein & Partners in San Francisco, Publicis Groupe’s Publicis in New York and MDC’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, sources said.
