Chrysler to Sponsor Black College Sports

CHICAGO Chrysler Group will partner with 32 colleges from historically black athletic conferences in a sponsorship that will include advertising and marketing centered largely around sports.

The Auburn Hills, Mich., car maker will tout its Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands across different media platforms, including brand advertising on televised football and basketball games carried on the Major Broadcast Cable Network. The deal will also include in-venue signage, dealer hospitality and print and Web media outlets.

The 32 colleges and universities included in the partnership are from the Southwestern Athletic Conference, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
