Comic Book Fans, Media Rally Around Victim of Santa Monica Hit-and-Run
It happened early last Saturday in Santa Monica. As comic book industry veteran Roger Slifer was crossing the north side of the intersection of 5th Street at Colorado Ave., he was struck by a car making a left turn onto 5th.
With the 57-year-old suffering critical injuries and currently lying in an induced coma at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, fans are taking to Twitter and the media spreading the word in hopes of helping capture the driver of the offending vehicle. From
