7-Eleven director of marketing Russ Klein is leaving the convenience-store company and is expected to join Burger King as chief marketing officer. A 7-Eleven rep confirmed Klein was leaving the company as of May 30 and said he will join the Miami-based fast-food chain. BK has been searching for a CMO since Chris Clouser said he would leave the company in February. His retirement was effective May 1. Calls to BK were not immediately returned.
