Cover Battle: The New Yorker or Complex
Welcome back to another edition of FishbowlNY’s Cover Battle. This week we have The New Yorker versus Complex. The New Yorker’s latest cover — an illustration by Ivan Brunetti — features drawings of extremely busy people. In fact, just looking at this cover makes us tired. Apparently none of those tiny people have heard of Netflix Night.
Complex’s October/November issue has Iggy Azalea, an Australian MC, covered by some well-placed flowers. And no, she doesn’t rap about boomerangs and kangaroos.
So readers, which cover is better? You can vote, comment, or do both.
