Taylor Nelson Sofres PLC confirmed last week it is considering the acquisition of IPG’s NFO WorldGroup. The company said the acquisition would be funded primarily by debt and that additional funding would not involve TNS making a rights issue to shareholders. The price under discussion is below the $500 million level quoted in previous press reports, the company said.
