The History Channel has called off its $15 million creative review and will hand out assignments on a project basis, the client said. The network’s search began last September after it dropped Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York. Chemistry meetings with 10 agencies were held before the client decided to end the search. The History Channel’s branding will be handled in-house, while various shops will work on consumer print ads.
