Online travel service Orbitz awarded the creative portion of its $30 million ad account to WPP’s Young & Rubicam following a review, sources said. The Chicago shop bested local rivals Leo Burnett and Element 79. Orbitz spent about $15 million on ads in 2001 but nearly $30 million from January through November 2002, according to CMR.
