ATLANTA Less than a year after retaining one of its oldest accounts, HDC has resigned the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau business.

Billings for the account, held by HDC (formerly Harris Drury Cohen) since 1992, are $1.6 million.

The resignation was confirmed by agency CEO Michael Goldberg who said in a statement issued by the client, “We are unable to continue to perform under the contract in the manner calculated to meet the objectives of Broward County.”
