M&C Saatchi Lands Crystal Cruises

LOS ANGELES Crystal Cruises has hired M&C Saatchi to handle its advertising and global branding account after a review, the agency and the client said.

The 15-year old, Los Angeles-based cruise line spends about $7 million annually on ads, according to CMR. It had most recently used Goodby Silverstein & Partners, which did not participate in the review, sources said. The review included three other undisclosed shops, sources said.

The shop’s first ads for Crystal Cruise are expected to appear in May in upscale consumer magazines.
