Y&R to Present New Ideas in Crucial AT&T Meeting

NEW YORK—Young & Rubicam is expected to present new creative ideas for AT&T consumer services on Wednes day in what sources describe as a crucial meeting with the client. The New York agency, which handles the bulk of AT&T Corp.’s $500 million account, is said to be under pressure to deliver a new campaign, particularly after the recent arrival of new AT&T Consumer president John Polumbo. Polumbo, who previously was an svp at AT&T Business, shifted to the consumer division last month.
