NEW YORK — Electrolux has shortened the list of contenders for its $75 million global account from four to three shops, each of which will participate in another round of meetings, sources said.

J. Walter Thompson in London has been eliminated, leaving the London offices of Lowe and Grey and the WPP Group team of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R in London and Berlin Cameron/Red Cell in New York, said sources.

The cut followed a round of strategic presentations last week at the client’s headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
