“Live in your world. Fight in Sony’s,” is the message to Presi dent Bush from Mikel Reparaz. The 24-year-old copy editor and videogame reviewer for the Marin Independent Journal in Novato, Calif., is unnerved by the president’s stance on Iraq and has responded by organizing a grassroots Internet fund raising campaign called, simply, “Buy Bush a PlayStation 2.”

“As I sat pondering the president’s motives one day, it suddenly dawned on me that it is entirely likely our commander in chief has never played a single videogame in his life,” Reparaz writes on his site (www.evilninja.net/buybush.htm).
