Three London shops made final pitches last week in Amsterdam, Netherlands: Fallon and the incumbent, Saatchi & Saatchi, both owned by Publicis Groupe; and Bartle Bogle Hegarty, part-owned by Publicis, sources said. Billings are estimated at $80 million. Sony and the agencies either declined comment or could not be reached. 4 Agencies Vie for $75 Mil. Electrolux AccountNEW YORK—Four global networks are competing to handle creative duties on Electrolux's global ad account: Grey Global Group's Grey; Young & Rubicam and J. Walter Thompson, both WPP Group shops; and Interpublic Group's Lowe, the client confirmed. Billings are estimated at $75 million. Strategic pitches are scheduled for mid-November, said sources. Ad efforts were previously divided among several shops. London consultancy Agency Assessments International is managing the search.New BMW Films Begin Breaking This WeekCHICAGO—The next round of three BMW Films by Fallon in Minneapolis is set to launch on the Internet over six weeks, beginning Oct. 24. This year's films depict driver Clive Owen in three different scenarios: rescuing a hostage; transporting a heart; and drag racing against the devil for James Brown's soul. All movies showcase the new Z4 roadster. The films were directed by John Woo, Joe Carnahan and Tony Scott, and feature actors Gary Oldman, Ray Liotta, F. Murray Abraham and Don Cheadle, as well as a cameo by Marilyn Manson. The company has struck deals with DirecTV to create a channel dedicated to running the films, and with Microsoft to run the films in digital-projection movie theaters.Petsmart Severs Ties With DonerDETROIT—Petsmart is working with several shops on projects, following a split with Doner in Southfield, Mich., which won the Phoenix-based client's $20 million creative business about two years ago, a client representative said. Arnold, EPB Still in Talks for New YorkBOSTON—Havas' Arnold and Panoramic Communications' Earle Palmer Brown remained in talks late last week in an effort to place some staffers and clients of the latter's New York office with Arnold, sources said. DeLonghi kitchen appliances, which spends about $5 million on ads annually, according to CMR, is most likely to make the move, sources said. Lance Mald, CEO of EPB in New York, declined comment. Arnold chairman Ed Eskandarian did not return calls. EPB's New York office has about 25-30 remaining employees, sources said, and several clients. Last week, Arnold absorbed most of the staff and clients of EPB in Bethesda, Md., which will shortly close. Deutsch in L.A.
