NEW YORK–Yahoo is searching for a new global chief marketing officer, following John Costello’s announced departure Friday, the Sunnyvale, Calif., company said.
Costello is leaving the Web portal after less than a year to become evp, chief marketing officer at Atlanta-based Home Depot.
Yahoo has retained Spencer Stuart, a New York-based executive recruiting firm, to conduct the search for Costello’s replacement, according to a company representative. “We hope by virtue of the success we’ve had in our brand marketing and corporate and consumer marketing over the past year, we’ll be able to find a strong individual to fill that position soon,” the representative said.
Costello,
