Paramount Parks has shifted its estimated $2 million media planning and buying assignment for Kings Island amusement park to Empower MediaMarketing in Cincinnati without a review, according to the company.
Lead creative duties for the Cincinnati park and other Paramount Parks properties will remain with Barkley Evergreen & Partners in Kansas City, Mo., which also had handled the Kings Island media business, the company said.
Paramount Parks, a unit of Vicamo, spent an estimated $5 million on advertising last year, of which about $2 million was on Kings Island, according to CMR.
