It’s not often that a simple business card can be converted into food and shelter for those down on their luck. But the Advertising Industry Emergency Fund has a plan to do just that.

The organization is asking ad people for business cards that will be included in a book to be distributed in November at its annual show. The donation for each card is $55. (In addition to soliciting cards from individuals, the organization is asking companies to advertise in the book.)
