Tribal DDB's Chief Media Officer Resigns

NEW YORK — One day after layoffs struck Tribal DDB, Tim McHale, the i-shop’s chief media officer of North America, said he was resigning due to “philosophical differences.” He declined further comment Friday.

On Thursday, Tribal DDB cut 12 staffers across all disciplines from its New York headquarters, and Steven Marrs, president and COO of Tribal DDB North America, announced his departure [IQ Daily Briefing, April 4].

About 25 staffers remain in the New York office servicing accounts like Pepsi, American Stock Exchange and New York State Lottery.
