NEW YORK — If you’re interested in starting your own dot-com grocery company, the place to be is Georgia in August, where beleagured online grocer Webvan is holding its third auction since May.
The purpose this time is to liquidate about $30 million worth of equipment used at its shuttered Atlanta-based fulfillment center. The auction, scheduled for August 7 and 8 in Suwanee and Lauranceville, Georgia, is being conducted by Charyn Asset Management Group of San Francisco.
