DDB's Pilkington to Step Down

CHICAGO — Alan Pilkington, president of DDB’s North and South America and chairman of its Chicago office, will retire from the agency.

Dick Rogers, president of DDB USA, will take over Pilkington’s North American duties, while Pilkington’s South American duties will be assumed by Eduardo Fernandez, president of DDB Latin American. Bob Scarpelli, the agency’s U.S. chief creative officer, will take over as chairman of the Chicago office.

Pilkington, who joined DDB 17 years ago, has also served as president DDB Asia/Pacific.
