Amazon Asks Contenders for More
CHICAGO—Amazon.com has asked the two agencies competing for its $35 million global advertising account to “flesh out” their creative pitches, sources said. The San Francisco company is said to have liked portions of the ideas pitched by Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, Ore., and Leo Burnett, Chicago, but wanted to see more. Amazon parted with incumbent FCB, San Francisco, in December. A decision could come by early May, sources said.
