The California Department of Health Services officials met Monday with three finalists in a review for its Cancer Prevention and Nutrition Section and expects to award the account, worth an estimated $20 million over three years, on Thursday.
Finalists include Lawrence, Mayo & Ponder in Newport Beach, Calif., and Sacramento agencies Runyon, Saltzman & Einhorn and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
The account combines healthy-living initiatives previously handled separately, including the California Nutrition Network, Latino 5 A Day, California 5 a Day, Women’s 5 a Day, and youth-oriented PowerPlay! campaigns.
