Sherida Books Donates Over $20,000 to Katrina Relief

Immediately following the news regarding the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, Sheridan Books employees wanted to know how they could help. Sheridan Books began an employee fundraiser for hurricane relief efforts on Sept. 1, 2005.

By the second day employees had already donated over $5,500! Donations were accepted through Sept. 8, 2005. A total of 88 Sheridan Books employees contributed to the fundraiser; raising over $10,200.

Sheridan Books matched the employee’s donations 100 percent. The President of Sheridan Books, Inc.,
