Stone & Ward has acquired the advertising account of hometown landmark The Capital Hotel after a review of undisclosed agencies.
Joe Rantisi, general manager of the Little Rock, Ark., property, said Stone & Ward will develop print and outdoor advertising and provide public relation services for the 118-room luxury hotel, opened in 1876.
Advertising expenditures will not exceed $1 million.
Rantisi said he became familiar with Stone & Ward after viewing a presentation of the shop’s work for another client–the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The Capital Hotel advertising account was put in play after incumbent agency Ginnaven Patterson Associates closed earlier this year.
