Interactive Unit, Taps Casey to Lead
BOSTON–Smash Advertising has launched an interactive division, Smash Interactive Group, and tapped Douglas Casey to direct the five-person practice.
Casey comes to Smash, Boston, from Communications Technology Exchange, Washington, D.C., where for the past year he led the consultancy’s Capitol Hill Group. Prior to that, Casey oversaw online educational content for the Smithsonian Institution’s 14 museums and research facilities.
So far, Smash Interactive has worked on banner ads and a Web site for The History Channel, a longtime agency client, promoting its Great American History Quiz.
