National City Corp. based in Cleveland, is launching its first corporate advertising campaign this week following the consolidation of its 34 affiliate retail banks under one name, one logo and one marketing strategy.
The campaign carries the tag, ‘We’re going the distance for you.’ The theme of the ads is that throughout various stages of life people find themselves with goals that take financial backing.
‘It’s a concept that most people can relate to,’ said Thomas Woodbery, National City vp/advertising manager.
