Roy Grace is taking a definite hands-on approach to a new print campaign that broke last week–he’s drawing it himself.
Grace, chairman of New York shop Grace & Rothschild, is rolling up his sleeves to sketch a series of cartoons for William Grant & Sons’ single-malt scotch, The Balvenie.
“When this started out, I was just doing this for presentation purposes,” Grace said.
Mark Teasdale, the client’s marketing director, however, said the black-and-white drawings tested so well that Grace got the green light.
