DDB Needham, New York, bowed a new TV and radio campaign for L’eggs Sheer Energy panty hose meant to depict how the product enhances a woman’s “positive energy.” TV spots employ a film technique dubbed “positiving,” in which the “Sheer Energy woman” is filmed in color and the rest of the spot is shot in black and white. Her “positive energy” causes everything she touches to become colorful.
New York shop TBWA/Chiat/Day’s first work for Outback Steakhouse plays off the client’s longstanding tagline, “No rules, just right.”
