N.Y. Office Joins London Office for Combined $40 Mil. Account
NEW YORK–Masius last week won the U.S. account of Worldtraveldirect.com, a Web travel-services provider that is launching nationwide this fall. The 3-month-old, rebranded agency was awarded the account after a review involving three other undisclosed agencies.
Culver Holdings plc, a London company, operates the site, which has a global media budget of nearly $40 million, according to sources.
Masius, an independent unit in the Bcom3 network that specializes in financial and business-to-business marketing, was awarded the business in London last December when the site went up in Britain.
Bcom3’s MediaVest, based in New York, will handle worldwide media duties.
“We were very impressed with their full-service capabilities,” said Worldtraveldirect.com
