NEW YORK–Penelope Hawkey, vice chairman and chief creative officer at Publicis/Bloom, is leaving the agency after 12 years.

Agency chairman Robert Bloom said that Hawkey would be ‘finishing up assignments’ when she returned from vacation and that she was leaving the agency to ‘pursue other interests.’ Hawkey made ‘immense contributions’ to the agency over the last decade, said Bloom.

Hawkey joined Publicis, then known as The Bloom Agency/New York, in 1985 as president and

creative director and eventually rose to the post of vice chairman of Bloom FCA.
