The new management team at Leagas Delaney here has won its first account since taking the reins about a year ago.
Software.net in Sunnyvale, Calif., awarded the agency its estimated $5-6 million TV and print account after a national review that included seven other shops. Leagas, 3-year-old Software.net’s first ad agency, had stronger consumer branding experience than most of the contenders, said client officials.
“Leagas demonstrated the advertising savvy and creative impulse” that can deliver the emotional and rational ingredients for the company’s first corporate branding campaign, said Brian Sroub, vice president of marketing for the online software retailer.
