ANA to Allow Agencies to Join Trade Group
NAPLES, Fla.–The Association of National Advertisers said Friday that it will extend membership in the ANA to the top 25 ad agencies. The American Association of Advertising Agencies applauded the ANA’s move, but a representative said it was premature to comment on how that decision would increase cooperation between the two trade groups. Burtch Drake, president of the 4A’s, said, “Any initiative that will allow agencies to get closer to clients is welcomed by the 4A’s.”
