RIO DE JANEIRO – After three months of evaluating several ad agencies, Apple Computers has chosen Almap/BBDO to handle its advertising in Brazil. The U.S. company intends to make up for time lost during the years of market restrictions on computer imports. Although relative newcomers to the Brazilian market, Macintosh computers are one of the fastest-growing market segments in personal computing. Apple is expected to spend $2.5 million in advertising here in 1994.
