In spite of the company tenet that one “never kicks a pulling mule,” officials with Jack Daniels Distillery are making a significant change to their advertising.
The Lynchburg, Tenn., company is adding color to the print work for its Jack Daniels Old No.7 Tennessee Whiskey this month, after a tradition of using only black-and-white ads that goes back to 1954.
“We’re not giving up the black-and-white [ads],” explained Lynchburg promotions manager Roger Brashears, with the company for 34 years.
