TeleVest and Wells Team Up in P&G Review
NEW YORK-TeleVest and Wells BDDP have formed a strategic alliance to jointly pitch for Procter & Gamble’s $1.2 billion broadcast media buying assignment. The two shops combined handle the largest portion of P&G’s broadcast buying business. Presentations are set for October. Other contenders are: Chicago’s Leo Burnett; Grey Advertising and Zenith Media, both in New York. P&G declined comment.

Kaplan Thaler Said to Be Starting Agency
NEW YORK-Linda Kaplan Thaler, who recently resigned as executive creative director at Wells BDDP here, is forming an agency with Clairol as her first client, sources said.
