Hearst Gets Excited
Hearst New Media and Technology’s HomeArts and Excite have formed a co-branded distribution deal. The arrangement calls for HomeArts to provide content for Excite’s lifestyle channel, located at www.excite.com. The Web pages will contain both the Excite and the HomeArts logos and the companies will also share ad revenue in the venture. Excite is soon expected to announce other content partners for its channels, which cover topics including news, entertainment, health and sports.
