A recent TV spot for Long John Silver’s Restaurants, which shows a state trooper stealing food from a suspect, has angered some police officers.
The 30-second spot, created by New York-based Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor and called “State Trooper” (shown here), shows an opportunistic smokie snatching Long John’s food from a motorist whom he has pulled over. The ad ran in Fresno, Calif., and four other markets.
