A former president of Ketchum Advertising USA is assuming the reins of the San Francisco Advertising Club.
Bob Kroyer, 58, was elected the 1997-98 president of the club. Kroyer currently runs Ironwood Enterprises, an ad, marketing and media consultancy in Ross, Calif. He headed the six U.S. offices of Ketchum in 1988-93 from the agency’s Pittsburgh headquarters. Prior to that, he was in charge of Ketchum here.
“Along with supporting the outstanding advertising coming out of this marketplace, my goal [at the ad club] is to promote [its] educational programs aimed at young people,” Kroyer said.
