ATLANTA-Two cable TV networks awarded their advertising accounts last week: Turner Classic Movies’ creative-only business went to The Martin Agency, and Courtroom Television Network gave its estimated $5 million corporate image account to Griffin Bacal.
Martin won a three-way race for TCM that included Gotham in New York and Martin/Williams in Minneapolis.
Richmond, Va.-based Martin’s first work will be a print campaign aimed at cable operators, breaking this fall.
Previously, TCM’s advertising had been handled on a project basis and in-house, said TCM vice president of marketing Katherine Evans.
