There was no incumbent on the business.
The client, headquartered in Reston, Va., offers a digital notary authentication system. Primary users of the equipment are large corporate and institutional clients that need a method to archive volumes of tamper-proof records.
Surety executive vice president Barry Libenson had worked with West & Vaughan when he was with another company. The shop took advantage of that relationship to pursue the business.
