Staples Proceeds With Media Buying Review





BOSTON–Even though Staples hit a snag with the Federal Trade Commission’s oversight of its effort to buy Office Depot, the company is moving forward with its $25 million media buying review; a preliminary cut will be made next week, sources said. Staples official Phyllis Wasserman did not address the review specifically but said her company was moving ahead with all projects with the expectation that the Office Depot deal will eventually be approved.
