MILWAUKEE – Miller Brewing Co. and NBC reached agreement on a four-year advertising sponsorship of NBA broadcasts through the 1997-98 season. The agreement came with more than a full year left on the existing agreement. In the deal, Miller remains as the largest advertiser on NBA telecasts on NBC. Miller also retains exclusivity on all on-air promotional features for the category. Beginning with the 1994-95 season, the league and the network will share equally in revenues achieved through advertising above a certain amount.
