At Sawyer Riley Compton, the holidays have become a time to help the less fortunate.
While driving home one chilly Atlanta evening four years ago, SRC chief executive officer Frank Compton spotted a homeless man wrapped in a bathrobe trying to ward off the cold.
“I couldn’t get himoff my mind,” said Compton. “I thought, ‘I’ve got to do something about this.’ “
Compton tried to find the man, butnever could.
Months later, when a media rep gave him an athletic jacket as a promotional giveaway, Compton turned it over to another homeless person.
